Washington Draws 1-1 With Gonzaga

In their first of two games this weekend, the Washington Huskies fought to a 1-1 tie with the Gonzaga Bulldogs. Sianna Siemonsma scored Washington's goal in the game. The Huskies will take on Eastern Washington this weekend as well, facing off with the Eagles Sunday at 1:00 pm.

Late Goal Gives Huskies 2-1 Win At Seattle U

A wild and wet night at Championship Field ended with the Washington Huskies triumphing over Seattle U 2-1 Thursday evening. Ameera Hussen and Sienna Siemonsma each scored for Washington, with Siemonsma's second-half goal putting the Huskies up for good. Washington never trailed in the match and are now 2-1 in three spring games.

Get To Know: Lisa Jensen

In just her second season with the Huskies, Lisa Jensen has already started 26 games, including 18 of 19 this year.  A defender, Jensen even scored her first goal this game, raising high for a header against Seattle off a corner.  The Seattle-area native has helped the Huskies record ten shutouts this year as well, with Washington allowing just 0.79 goals per game.

Get To Know: Jessica Udovich

After two injury-ravaged seasons, Jessica Udovich started all 20 games for the Huskies in 2017 and was a major part of a record-setting defense.  Udovich played the second-most minutes of any Husky, sitting for just 45 minutes all season.  She was also named the Nike Portland Invitational Defensive MVP and the Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Week for the week ending September 10, earning some recognition for her strong play in central defense.

Huskies Announce Spring Schedule

The Washington Huskies spring schedule was announced today, beginning with a matchup against the National Women's Soccer League's Seattle Reign on March 8 at 6:30 pm.  In all, the Huskies will have six games on their spring schedule.  The Huskies will also head to Japan during the spring season.
