FEDERAL WAY, WASH. — USC claimed its first ever Conference title on final day of the Pac-12 Women’s Swimming and Men’s and Women’s Diving Championships at the Weyerhaeuser King Country Aquatic Center in Federal Way, Wash. The four-day meet featured fast swimming and exquisite diving with American and Conference records, historic program finishes, all capped with the Trojan victory with 1481 team points.
FEDERAL WAY, WASH. - Another day, another American record. On the third day of the 2016 Pac-12 Championships, STANFORD captured the American record in the 400 medley relay in 3:26.25. Through three days of competition, USC leads Stanford by five points, 951-946 with CALIFORNIA in third (890.5).
FEDERAL WAY, Wash. – Stanford’s record-breaking 200 medley relay highlighted day one of the 2016 Pac-12 Women’s Swimming and Men’s and Women’s Diving Championships, held at the Weyerhaeuser King County Aquatic Center in Federal Way, Wash. The Cardinal broke a four-year-standing American record in the 200 medley relay on Wednesday.
Year in and year out, Pac-12 women’s swimming sports some of the best swimmers in not just the United States, but on the international level as well. The 2016 Pac-12 Women’s Swimming Championships will again showcase several NCAA standouts and Olympians from all over the world. As of Feb. 16, five teams were ranked in the College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Top-25 poll, including four in the top 15 and two in the top five.
