Four current and former Stanford student-athletes will be competing at the U.S. Amateur (Aug. 14-20) at Riviera Country Club in Pacific Palisades, California.

A Love Affair With Golf

Frank "Sandy" Tatum has had a remarkable life and shows few signs of slowing down. He earned an engineering degree from Stanford in 1942, was a Rhodes Scholar and received his BCL in engineering from the University of Oxford in 1949, where he was the first American to play on the golf team, and graduated from Stanford Law School in 1950.

McNealy Cops Top Award

Stanford senior men's golfer Maverick McNealy has been named to the CoSIDA Academic All-America  second team, as announced Thursday by the organization. 

Cardinal Season Closes

The careers of two of the finest student-athletes to play for the Stanford men's golf program came to a close Sunday after the third round of the NCAA Championships.
