Ali Aguilar Nominated For Sports Star Of The Year

The Seattle Sports Commission announced the nominees for the 83rd annual MTRWestern Sports Star of the Year awards, with Washington's own Ali Aguilar nominated for Female Sports Star of the Year.  Voting for the awards close Friday, January 26 at 5:00 pm and is available to all fans online.

Aguilar, Bates, Gano Named To USA National Team

With the announcement by USA Softball of the World Championship and Word Cup teams, the Huskies find themselves well represented, with two past players in Ali Aguilar and Courtney Gano and current infielder Sis Bates all being named to the teams.

Pac-12 Releases Softball TV Schedule

The Pac-12 announced the 2018 softball television schedule Monday, with the Huskies set to make 20 appearances on the Pac-12 Network.  That total is the most of any Pac-12 team.  Series against Arizona, California, Utah, and Oregon will all be aired live from Husky Softball Stadium, with the Huskies' road series against Arizona State, Stanford, and UCLA also being broadcast on the Pac-12 Network.

Huskies Sign Eight For 2019

The Washington Huskies announced eight commits on Signing Day 2018.  Madison Banks, Silent Rain Espinoza, Madison Huskey, Ari Quinoñes, Sami Reynolds, McKenzie Schulz, Francesca Torraca, and Megan Vandegrift all signed with Washington and will begin competing for the Huskies in the 2019 season.

Huskies Announce 2018 Schedule

The Washington Huskies announced their 2018 softball schedule Monday, October 23.  Washington will take on 12 2017 NCAA Tournament teams, including two Women's College World Series teams.  Overall, Washington's opponents had a .560 winning percentage last year.

Huskies Open Registration For Two Youth Camps

On November 11 and 12, the Huskies will host the Mini Dawgs Camp, open for kids age 6-12.  The Huskies will also host the Holiday Softball School on December 28 and 29, open for kids ages 8-16.  Registration for both camps is available online.
