Football
Sep 7, 2013
In his first year on The Farm, coach Clark Shaughnessy introduced the revolutionary "T-formation" offense and propelled the Indians to a Rose Bowl berth. On New Year's Day 1941, Stanford used its offensive scheme to rush for 277 yards and a 21-13 win over the Cornhuskers. The victory cemented the use of the T-formation throughout all levels of football.
