Thomas led Washington to five wins to open the 2018 campaign at the Peterson Hotels Invitational, winning by a combined 70-3, including four shutout victories: Saint Louis (15-3), Bradley (11-0), Miami (OH) (19-0), Western Illinois (10-0), Bradley (15-0).
