PEORIA, Ariz.  –  Oklahoma State scored in each of the first six innings and cruised to a 12-2 win over Washington Sunday in the final game of the Pac-12/Big-12 Tournament at Peoria Sports Complex in Peoria, Ariz.

Washington (5-3) went 1-3 in the four-game tournament.

Gage Green had two home runs for the Cowboys (4-3) and was one of two players with three hits in the game. Oklahoma State outhit Washington 13-8.

Noah Bremer, making his first career start for the Huskies, was given a rough indoctrination into college baseball. Green cranked a 0-1 pitch over the right field bullpen for a home run in the first inning to give the Cowboys a short-lived lead.

The Huskies' offense responded with a run of their own to tie the game at 1-1. Kyle London led off with a single off first-time starter Carson LaRue, and eventually came around to score on a sacrifice fly by last-night's hero Branden Berry.

But that would mark the last time the Huskies were tied with the Cowboys. Two UW errors proved to be costly in the second inning as Oklahoma State scored two unearned runs to retake the lead. After retiring the first two hitters easily, No. 7 hitter Dustin Williams lined a single off Bremer's foot. Back-to-back fielding errors loaded the bases for lead-off hitter Garrett McCain, who doubled down the left-field line to score a pair.

After getting the first out of the third, Bremer (0-1) gave up a hit and hit a batter to end his day. Both runners would eventually come around to score off reliever Alex Nesbitt to give the Cowboys a 5-1 advantage. The freshman from Berkeley ended up allowing four hits, five runs – three earned – and struck out three in his 2 1/3 innings of work.

It didn't get much better for the Huskies' pitching staff after that as each of four relievers gave up at least one run.

Green added another solo home run in the fourth that made the score 7-1.

The only other run the Huskies could muster came in the fifth inning. Alex Schmidt hit into a fielder's choice that scored London, who reached on his second hit of the day.

London was the only Huskies player with more than one hit.

The next game for the Huskies is their home-opener Wednesday against Portland. First pitch is 5:00 p.m. at Husky Ballpark.
