BERKELEY – After a thrilling win in the inaugural Big Match, California women's golf will return to the course on Monday and Tuesday at the Coeur D'Alene Resort Collegiate Invitational. The two-day tournament in Coeur D'Alene, Idaho will be hosted by Gonzaga University.

The Bears will tee off at 8 a.m. as part of a shotgun start. Cal takes to the Par-71 course only four days after the Big Match where the women teamed with Cal's men's squad to take down the men and women of Stanford. The match was tied 3-3 after the six pairs each won two matches and halved the points on the other two matches. The match went to a tiebreaker with the top pair playing a playoff hole.

Senior Cindy Oh recorded birdies on both playoff holes to win the title for Cal. It's been part of a fantastic early season for Oh. She finished fourth at the Branch Law Firm/Dick McGuire Invitational by shooting 4-under par throughout the tournament. She then paired with Collin Morikawa to win their matchup 5 & 4 over Stanford. Oh recorded nine birdies throughout the 16 holes she played on Thursday.

She hasn't been the only Bear excelling as freshman Katherine Zhu continued her strong play. She teamed with James Song to win their matchup 4 & 3. This was after Zhu finished in the top-30 of her first collegiate tournament in New Mexico.

Fellow freshman, Elena Arias helped halve a point for the Bears as she teamed with KK Limbhasut. Arias was stellar throughout the day and her form from a 13th place finish at the Branch Law Firm/Dick McGuire Invitational carried over.
