BERKELEY – California earned four Pac-12 Academic Honors on Tuesday, with the conference announcing that Anna Bright claimed a second-team spot and that Olivia Hauger, Jasie Dunk and Hana Mraz collected honorable mention.

To be eligible for selection to the academic team, a student-athlete must have a minimum 3.0 overall grade-point average and compete in at least 50 percent of the team's scheduled regular-season events.

Bright, a sophomore, and Hauger, a senior co-captain, are majoring in business administration, and both also recently earned All-Pac-12 Honorable Mention for their on-court success. This is the first Pac-12 All-Academic honor for Bright, who earlier in May earned the Golden Bear Award for holding the team's highest GPA this year. Bright ended her 2018-19 season when Cal fell in the second round of the NCAA Championship, with the Boca Raton, Florida, product compiling records of 27-10 in singles and 20-11 in doubles. Bright is ranked 79th in singles and the pair of Dunk and Bright (17-10 record) is ranked 54th in the current Oracle ITA polls.

This marks the third Pac-12 Academic Honorable Mention for Hauger, who's ranked 48th in singles and has records of 24-9 in singles and 18-11 in doubles. Hauger and Katerina Stloukalova (9-5) are ranked 88th in doubles.

Hauger and Mraz's season will continue later this month in Orlando, Florida, where they will join Rosenqvist for the national individual tournaments. Rosenqvist and Hauger will play in the NCAA Singles Championship starting May 20, while the 20th-ranked pair of Rosenqvist and Mraz will compete in the NCAA Doubles Championship beginning May 21.

These are the first Pac-12 All-Academic honors for Mraz, a sophomore who is intending to major in psychology, and Dunk, who is intending to major in political economy. Dunk finished her sophomore season with a 21-14 doubles record and 7-7 singles mark, while Mraz ended the year at 11-14 in singles. Mraz has posted a 15-9 doubles record so far, going 8-8 record with Rosenqvist and 7-1 with Stloukalova, with the latter duo holding a No. 62 ranking.

The Golden Bears all contributed to Cal's 13-9 season in which Cal reached the NCAA Championship round of 32. Bright clinched the round of 64 victory over Long Beach State, with Hauger – in her penultimate collegiate dual match – and Dunk also adding wins.
