Pac-12 Football Players of the Week - Week Three

OFFENSE: Jermar Jefferson, Jr., RB, Oregon State (Harbor City, Calif.)

• In the Beavers 31-27 win over Cal, Jefferson ran for 196 yards on 18 carries, his third-highest single game total.
• The performance was the 13th 100-yard game of his career, which are the fifth most all-time at Oregon State. 
• Averaged 10.9 yards per rush, putting him just shy of the Top 10 in Oregon State's single-game record books. 
• Ran for a 75-yard score on the first play from scrimmage, his longest career rush. 
• Also ran for a 65-yard rush in the fourth quarter, now his second-longest career gain. 
• Scored his 25th career touchdown, tying him for fifth all-time at Oregon State. 
• Now has 2,514 career rushing yards, the Pac-12's active leader and seventh all-time in the Oregon State record books.

DEFENSE: Jordan Happle, Sr., S, Oregon (Portland, Ore.)

• Happle returned an interception for a 58-yard score on the final play of the first half in Oregon's win over UCLA this past Saturday.
• Made a career-high 11 tackles, leading the Ducks on Saturday, including six solo stops. 
• The 58-yard Pick 6 was Oregon's longest interception return for a TD since 2017 and the longest at Autzen Stadium by a Duck since 2011. 
• He is one of six FBS players with double-digit tackles and a Pick 6 in the same game this season. 
• He's the first Duck to have double-digit tackles and a Pick 6 in the same game since John Boyett at Arizona State in 2010 and the first Pac-12 player to do so since 2018.

SPECIAL TEAMS: Jesiah Irish, R-So., WR, Oregon State (Snoqualmie, Wash.)

• Irish blocked a fourth quarter punt deep in California's territory that led to Oregon State's game-winning touchdown on Saturday against the Golden Bears. Cal's punter attempted to punt from the Bears' 25 yard line (line of scrimmage at their 40). The punt was recovered by Cal at their own 14, setting the stage for a three play, 14-yard scoring drive for the Beavers.
• The block was Irish's first career punt block and gave Oregon State two on the season. 
• Beavers' opponents have punted 12 times, giving Oregon State a 16.7 percent success rate on punt block attempts.

OFFENSIVE LINE: Luke Wattenberg, Sr., OL, Washington (Trabuco Canyon, Calif.)

• The Huskies' senior center and most experienced offensive lineman graded out as the best in his unit in Washington's 44-27 win over Arizona. 
• Washington led 37-0 in the third quarter and rolled up a balanced attack of 233 rushing yards and 239 passing yards on the day.
• The Huskies didn't have a single penalty on the offensive line and surrendered just four tackles for loss (for only 10 yards) and one sack, a one-yard sack where the quarterback ran out of bounds, untouched.

DEFENSIVE LINE: Zion Tupuola-Fetui, So., OLB (DE), Washington (Pearl City, Hawai'i)

• Named Pac-12 Defensive Lineman of the Week, presented by Nextiva, for the second-straight week in Washington's 44-27 win over Arizona. 
• The Huskies held Arizona scoreless over the first three quarters, building 37-0 and 44-7 leads. 
• For the second straight week, he posted two quarterback sacks. 
• Tupuola-Fetui also forced a fumble and finished with three total tackles. 

Also nominated: Isaac Hodgins, DL, Oregon State; Osa Odighizuwa, DL, UCLA; Tuli Tuipulotu, DL, USC.

FRESHMAN: Dylan Morris, R-Fr., QB, Washington (Puyallup, Wash.)

• Morris, in his second career game, led Washington to a 44-27 win over Arizona. 
• The redshirt freshman was 15-for-25 for 230 yards, no interceptions and two touchdowns. 
• He threw his first career touchdown pass on the Huskies' first drive, hitting Puka Nacua on a 65-yard score. 
• Morris has yet to turn the ball over and has suffered just one sack (on which he ran out of bounds for a one-yard loss).
