Pac-12 releases Conference schedule for upcoming women’s gymnastics season

SAN FRANCISCO - The Pac-12 Conference has announced its league schedule for the upcoming 2021 women’s gymnastics campaign.

The schedule reflects a single-round robin of seven Conference dual meets for each program, set to begin on Jan. 22 featuring opening-week matchups between ARIZONA and UTAH, and ARIZONA STATE and UCLA. STANFORD will host CALIFORNIA, OREGON STATE will visit the Gym Devils, and UTAH will welcome WASHINGTON in their Conference debuts the following week on Jan. 29.

Under current health and safety guidelines, women’s gymnastics programs will have the ability to schedule non-conference meets at their institution’s discretion.

The complete week-by-week schedule shell as well as start times and dual meets selected for broadcast by Pac-12 Networks through Feb. 28 are listed; remaining start times and broadcasts through the end of the regular season will be announced in the coming weeks. Dates and start times for non-televised contests will be announced by schools subject to additional sport schedules and facility availability. All match dates, times and broadcasts are subject to change.

All eight Pac-12 programs entered the season ranked in the Women’s Collegiate Gymnastics Association (WCGA) preseason poll headlined by No. 4 UTAH, No. 7 UCLA and tied No. 8 CALIFORNIA in the top 10. No. 13 OREGON STATE, No. 19 WASHINGTON, No. 21 ARIZONA STATE, No. 24 ARIZONA and No. 31 STANFORD rounded out the league’s rankings.

UTAH captured the inaugural regular-season Conference title last March prior to the cancellation of the 2020 Pac-12 Championships. The 2021 Pac-12 Championships are slated to be held at the Maverik Center in West Valley City, Utah, on March 20, 2021.

All women’s gymnastics competitions will be conducted in accordance with the Pac-12 COVID-19 Medical Advisory Committee health and safety recommendations and guidelines, available at Pac-12.com/health.
