Registration Open for Gymnastics Summer Camps
CORVALLIS, Ore. - The Oregon State gymnastics program has announced that registration is now open for the 2021 Oregon State Gymnastics Summer Camps, which are scheduled for July 8-10, July 11-13, and August 6-8, 2021.
The camp is open to girls eight years old and up with day camp only options.
The focus of the camp is to instruct campers in the current techniques and proper progressions involved in gymnastics. The camp is designed to handle the camper with limited experience while at the same time offering a challenge to the competitive gymnast. Campers will be placed in groups according to age and ability. A small gymnast-to-coach ratio guarantees plenty of individual instruction by the staff.
Classes consist of vault, bars, tumbling, beam, trampoline, and dance.
The day camper option costs $500 and includes a t-shirt. Day campers are responsible for their own meals and lodging. Campers interested in participating in more than one camp session will receive a $100 discount for each extra camp (two camps - $900, three camps - $1300).
