Pac-12 Networks announces fall 2023 programming slate for men’s & women’s soccer, women’s volleyball, field hockey, men’s water polo and men’s & women’s cross country

SAN FRANCISCO - The 2023 fall season is around the corner, and Pac-12 Networks is set to air over 200 live events across Pac-12 men’s & women’s soccer, women’s volleyball, field hockey, men’s water polo and men’s & women’s cross country.
 
PROGRAMMING/SCHEDULE HIGHLIGHTS
 
MEN’S SOCCER
  • Stanford hosts Creighton in a non-conference clash on Thursday, Aug. 24 on Pac-12 Networks. The Cardinal advanced to the third round of the NCAA Tournament a season ago, while Creighton reached the semifinals where it fell to eventual national champion Syracuse.
  • League play kicks off on Thursday, Sept. 14 on Pac-12 Networks, with Oregon State visiting California and reigning Pac-12 champion Washington battling Stanford. The Beavers, Cardinal or Huskies have won each of the last 10 Pac-12 regular-season championships.
  • A total of 33 Pac-12 men’s soccer games are scheduled to air across Pac-12 Networks in 2023.
WOMEN’S SOCCER
  • Pac-12 Networks is home to 72 women’s soccer matches this upcoming season, with each team appearing at least six times.
  • Defending NCAA champion UCLA makes its Pac-12 Networks season debut on Thursday, Aug. 17 against Georgia. The Bruins went 22-2-1 in 2022, beginning the season on a 13-game win streak before defeating North Carolina in a double-overtime thriller to capture the program’s second NCAA National Championship.
  • Rivalry week takes place on Friday, Nov. 3 with six contests airing on Pac-12 Networks to wrap up the regular season.
WOMEN’S VOLLEYBALL
  • Stanford takes on Nebraska in a rematch of the 2018 NCAA Championship contest on Tuesday, Sept. 12 on Pac-12 Networks. The Cardinal defeated the Cornhuskers, 3-2 in 2018 to capture its first of back-to-back national titles.
  • The first installment of the 2023 Apple Cup between Washington and Washington State is slated for Thursday, Sept. 21, and the series continues on Friday, Nov. 24. The Apple Cup was split last year, with each home team winning 3-0.
  • Each team will appear at least nine times on Pac-12 Networks, which is set to broadcast a total of 72 women’s volleyball matches in 2023.
FIELD HOCKEY
  • Action begins on Monday, Aug. 28 with California hosting Rutgers on Pac-12 Networks in the first meeting between these two teams since 2002.
  • The Golden Bears and Stanford square off on Friday, Sept. 29 and Sunday, Oct. 1. The Cardinal reached the America East Championship game last season.
MEN’S WATER POLO
  • USC battles Stanford in a rematch of the 2018 NCAA National Championship game on Saturday, Oct. 7. These two squads have won a combined 21 NCAA crowns.
  • Two-time reigning national champion California faces rival Stanford on Saturday, Oct. 14 and Saturday, Nov. 11 on Pac-12 Networks.
MEN’S & WOMEN’S CROSS COUNTRY
  • The 2023 Pac-12 Men’s & Women’s Cross Country Championships take place on Friday, October 27 at Chambers Creek Regional Park in University Place, Washington. Stanford won the men’s crown in 2022 while Colorado earned its second-straight women’s title.
