SAN FRANCISCO - The 2022-23 Pac-12 Tom Hansen Conference Medal recipients were announced today. A Conference Medal is awarded annually to each member institution’s outstanding senior male and female student-athlete based on the exhibition of the greatest combination of performance and achievement in scholarship, athletics and leadership.

Conference medal winners have been named every year since the 1960-61 academic year. In 2009, the Pac-12 renamed the award the Tom Hansen Conference Medal in honor of Hansen, who retired at the end of June 2009 after serving for 26 years as Commissioner of the Pac-10.

Dalton Kincaid, Football (Las Vegas, Nev.) - Earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration in 2023 with a GPA of 3.065 … A member of the two-time Pac-12 champion team and a 2022 John Mackey Award semifinalist, an award for the nation’s top tight end … Named All-American by several outlets (first team: Bleacher Report, second team: PFF, third team: Associated Press) while also being recognized on midseason All-American lists by the AP, College Football News and PFF … Selected first team All-Pac-12 in 2022 after being honorable mention in 2021 … In 2022, led all FBS tight ends in receptions (70), while finishing second in receiving yards per game (74.2) and receiving touchdowns (8) while ranking third in receiving yards (890) ... Had 16 receptions on 16 targets for a career-high 234 yards and a touchdown against USC on October 15 to earn Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Week, Rose Bowl Player of the Week and Reese’s Senior Bowl Offensive Player of the Week. The 16 receptions were the most by any FBS player in 2022 and the second-most ever by a Utah player.
