Three Pac-12 Men's Soccer teams earned bids to the 2023 NCAA Tournament as revealed on Monday, headlined by seeded teams UCLA and STANFORD.

No. 13 overall seed UCLA and No. 16 seed STANFORD were joined by at-large selection OREGON STATE in the 48-team field.

It marks the eighth consecutive season the Conference sent at least half its teams to the postseason, and fifth straight tourney with multiple top-16 seeds.

Nov. 19 - LMU (7-4-6)/UC Irvine (9-6-4) at #13 UCLA (9-3-5)

Pac-12 champion UCLA earned the No. 13 national seed - its first top-16 seed since its NCAA runner-up finish as the No. 2 overall seed in 2014.

The Bruins are in the NCAA field for the third consecutive season under head coach Ryan Jorden and 48th time in program history, tied for the second-most appearances in NCAA history.

UCLA will welcome the winner of a first-round contest between LMU, an at-large selection from the WCC, and Big West Tournament champion UC Irvine. The Bruins played both sides this season, rolling to a 4-0 win at UCI and suffering a 1-0 loss to LMU.

Jorden has now led his teams to six NCAA appearances in the past eight seasons after guiding Pacific to three straight bids from 2016-18.

Nov. 19 - Missouri St. (11-3-3)/Omaha (8-7-4) at #16 Stanford (9-3-5)

Stanford has now earned a top-16 national seed in each of its last nine NCAA Tournament appearances.

It's the 21st all-time NCAA appearance for the Cardinal, including the 10th in the past 11 seasons under head coach Jeremy Gunn.

Stanford will host either Missouri State, an at-large selection from the Missouri Valley Conference, or Summit League Tournament champion Omaha.

Nov. 16 - Seattle U (12-3-3) at Oregon State (7-5-5)

Oregon State extended its streak of NCAA Tournament appearances to four, now the longest streak in the Pac-12, with an at-large berth under first-year head coach Greg Dalby.

It is the eighth all-time NCAA appearance for OSU, five of them coming the past six seasons.

The Beavers will host Seattle U in the first-round on Thursday seeking to avenge a 2-1 road loss to the Redhawks in early September. Should OSU advance, it would travel to No. 11 seed Portland in a potential rematch from the 2022 NCAA first round in which the Pilots advanced.

The three participants will now look to add to the Conference's success in NCAA postseason play:

  • Over the past 10 years, Pac-12 men's soccer has earned 34 out of a possible 60 NCAA Tournament bids across its six members, a 57 percent success rate bettered only by the 12-team ACC (68%, 81-120).
  • Pac-12 programs have combined for seven NCAA Men’s Soccer Championships - UCLA’s four national crowns (1985, 1990, 1997, 2002) are tied for the fourth-most by a program in NCAA history, while Stanford’s three titles (2015-17) are tied for seventh among all programs.
  • Pac-12 programs have combined for 23 College Cup appearances (national semifinals) all-time, including 11 since the formal creation of the league in 2000, with seven national championships and nine runner-up finishes.
