Beavers Set to Compete in Spring Tournament

CORVALLIS The Oregon State men's soccer team will compete in a PNW Spring Cup featuring teams from the Pacific Northwest over the next three weekends. The event will feature a round-robin format, with a table kept based on results. Washington, Portland and Seattle U will join the Beavers as participants.

"The spring segment of our season is so important for team and player development," said Oregon State head coach Greg Dalby."There is also a key piece of development that requires competing and the PNW Spring Cup will give us just that. We're excited to participate in this event and showcase some of the best teams in the country with a tournament style format."

Oregon State will open the event on Saturday when Washington visits Lorenz Field. The Beavers will head to Portland on April 20, before hosting Seattle U on April 27. Oregon State's full PNW Cup schedule can be found below.

April 13 vs. Washington 10:30 a.m. (Lorenz Field)
April 20 at Portland 6 p.m. (Merlo Field Portland, Ore.)
April 27 vs. Seattle U 2 p.m. (SLP3)

The Beavers are off to a strong start in spring action, having taken victories over Timbers 2 and Thompson Rivers.
