CORVALLIS, Ore. Oregon State football is 16th in the initial 2023 College Football Playoff rankings which were unveiled Tuesday afternoon on ESPN.

It's the second consecutive season OSU finds itself in the top-25 after debuting at No. 23 a year ago. The 2022 Beavers made it as high as 14 a year ago.

The 2023 Beavers, meanwhile, are 6-2 and bowl eligible in the month of October for the fifth time in program history. OSU is 16th this week per the Associated Press and 19th in the US LBM Coaches Poll.

Oregon State has been ranked in every AP poll this season. It's the first time in program history OSU has been in the top 25 for every AP poll through the first 10 weeks of the season.

Oregon State heads to Boulder this week to take on Colorado at Folsom Field. Kickoff is slated for 7 p.m. PT (8 p.m. in Boulder) and the game will air live on ESPN.
