Beavers Move Into Top 10 Heading Into Final Home Game

CORVALLIS, Ore. Oregon State is ranked 10th in both the Associated Press Top 25 and US LBM Coaches Poll, which were each released on Sunday.

It's the first time the Beavers find themselves in the top-10 per the AP since 2012 when reaching as high as No. 7.

Oregon State is 8-2 after defeating Stanford, 62-17, Saturday with the 45-point win being the biggest for the Beavers in the series history. Washington, meanwhile, is 10-0 after defeating Utah in Seattle. The Huskies are ranked fifth in both rankings.

Saturday's meeting between the teams will be the first for OSU with both teams in the top-10 since the then-No. 5 Beavers defeated No. 10 Notre Dame, 41-9, in the 2001 Fiesta Bowl. It's the first regular season top-10 matchup since No. 5 Oregon State defeated No. 8 Oregon, 23-13, on Nov. 18, 2000 in Corvallis.

Kick Saturday is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. PT and the game will air live on ABC.
