With the 2024 Pac-12 womens gymnastics season right around the corner, the conference has released its 2024 Preseason Watch List and Newcomer List which features 16 total gymnasts as nominated by the leagues eight womens gymnastics programs.
The lists include 11 returning Pac-12 standouts and five newcomers who are set to make an immediate impact in what will be a deep conference lineup in 2024. All eight programs are ranked in the Top 25 of the Womens Collegiate Gymnastics Association (WCGA) Preseason Poll for the second consecutive season, led by three-time defending Pac-12 Champion and league preseason favorite No. 4 Utah.

Jade Carey
from Oregon State, while the newcomer category boasts incoming freshmen that anchor some of the top-ranked classes in the country.
The 2024 season officially gets underway on Friday, Jan. 5. Pac-12 women's gymnastics will be featured on Pac-12 Networks and ESPN throughout the season, including the 2024 Pac-12 Women's Gymnastics Championships on March 23 at the Maverik Center in West Valley City, Utah.

2024 PAC-12 WOMEN'S GYMNASTICS PRESEASON WATCH LIST
Jade Carey, Oregon State
The 2020 Olympic Gold Medalist needs little introduction and has too many accolades to list, but in her two collegiate seasons she's added a pair of Pac-12 Gymnast of the Year awards, one Pac-12 Freshman of the Year honor, 15 All-American nods, a pair of NCAA runner-up finishes in the bars and beam and Pac-12 titles in the all-around, beam and floor to name just a few. Last season, she earned at least one Perfect 10 on all four events during the season, becoming just the 13th NCAA Gymnast all-time to complete the feat, which is referred to as a Gym Slam. Despite many collegiate level gymnasts putting their college plans on hold to train for next summer's Paris Olympics, Carey chose the road less traveled and decided to return for her junior season and train for the Olympics in Corvallis simultaneously.
Chae Campbell, UCLA
Campbell, a seven-time All-American, will be a key senior leader on the Bruins' 2024 squad. The 2021 Pac-12 Freshman/Newcomer of the Year became the first gymnast in Pac-12 history to earn all four weekly awards during her career after being name the Specialist of the Week on Feb. 21 last year. She was a 2021 Pac-12 Floor Exercise co-champion and has earned seven All Pac-12 honors with two career Perfect 10s on the floor.
Alysen Fears, Arizona
As a sophomore in 2023, Fears became a mainstay in the Wildcat lineup and figures to be an even bigger contributor as a junior this winter. She competed in all 14 of Arizona's meets last year, posting a career-high 9.925 on bars in thee consecutive meets, while her career-best scores of 9.875 on beam and a 9.90 on floor came at the Denver Regional.
eMjae Frazier, California
Frazier, a former four-star recruit, had an outstanding freshman season in Berkeley, helping the Bears to a historic year that included the program's first Regional Final title and a seventh-place finish at the National Championships. She earned NCAA All-American Second Team honors in the all-around, vault and floor and broke the program mark for the all-around not once but twice last season. Fraziers older sister Margzetta has been a standout at UCLA and will return for a graduate season, giving the siblings a chance to compete against each other one final time.
Skylar Killough-Wilhelm, Washington
Senior Killough-Wilhelm will be a key piece of the Washington lineup in 2024 after leading the Huskies to back-to-back regional appearances the last two years. As a junior in 2023, she tied her career-high all-around score of 39.550 and earned a career- high of 9.925 on bars on four different occasions. She's earned All-Pac-12 honors twice during her career, a first team nod on beam and honorable mention in the all-around as a sophomore in 2022.
Mya Lauzon, California
Lauzon had a breakout sophomore campaign a season ago, setting a Cal program mark with the Bears' first ever Perfect 10 on the balance beam and tying the program's all-around mark in the same competition with a 39.700. She earned regular season and NCAA All-American honors on the vault and balance beam, serving as a key piece of the lineup that won the first regional title in program history in 2023.
Jada Mangahas, Arizona State
Mangahas is poised to make a big jump in 2024 as she's working to enter the Sun Devils' lineup in the all-around after competing in three of four events for the majority of her junior campaign in 2023. She scored a 9.8 or better in all but one meet on all three events, scoring a 9.9-plus five times overall. Mangahas tied a career high on vault with a 9.900 at the NCAA Regional Final last year and set a career high on bars with a 9.925 at UCLA.
Amelie Morgan, Utah
Morgan has been the model of consistency in helping Utah finish third in the country each of the last two seasons, hitting on 60-of-60 routines in her career, including all 28 in 2023. She recorded a season-high 9.925 on bars at the NCAA Regional Second Round and a 9.9125 on beam at the NCAA Final. Overall, Morgan tallied a 9.875 or better on beam in seven competitions and on bars seven different times.
Lana Navarro, Washington
Navarro has been a steady contributor to a Huskies squad that has earned two consecutive NCAA Regional appearances the last two seasons, which included a trip to the LA Regional Final last March. As a sophomore in 2023, she competed in every vault, beam and floor lineup, earning a career-high of 9.900 on beam and floor twice on each event.
Hannah Scharf, Arizona State
Scharf returns for a fifth year after turning in her best season yet as a Sun Devil during 2023, when she competed in the all-around in every single event and ended the season ranked No. 21 in the nation in the all-around competition. After finishing second in her NCAA Regionals session, she advanced as an individual competitor to the NCAA Championships and took home the beam title at the regional with a career-high 9.950 on the event. She was named an All-Pac-12 First Team selection in the all-around for a third straight season and earned 2023 All-Pac-12 honors on the floor in 2023. On the year, Scharf collected 11 event titles, four coming in the all-around, posted 19 scores of 9.9-plus and set a career high in the all-around of 39.675, tied for the 10th-best all-around mark in program history.
Chloe Widner, Stanford
Widner is also returning for a super senior season in 2024 and figures to be a main feature of the Cardinal lineup during the upcoming campaign. Last season, Widner earned NCAA First Team All-America status on beam and qualified for the NCAA Championships in the all-around as a an individual competitor. The 2023 All-Pac-12 First Team honoree on beam competed in 14 meets for Stanford, winning five beam titles, two bars titles, one floor title and on all-around competition, setting new career-best efforts on all four events and in the all-around competition with 18 total routines scoring a 9.900 or better.
2024 PAC-12 WOMEN'S GYMNASTICS NEWCOMER WATCH LIST
Sophia Esposito, Oregon State
Esposito headlines a Beavers' 2024 freshman class that was ranked No. 8 in the country by College Gym News. This past year she won Development Program National Titles in the all-around and the beam to go along with her five straight regional championships on the floor and three consecutive regional titles on vault. Overall she is a four-time Level 10 National Champion with two titles on vault and one each on beam and in the all-around and should step into the OSU lineups immediately.
Abigayle Martin, Arizona
Arizona checks in with the No. 9 2024 freshman class thanks in large part to Martin, who College Gym News says has the "strong potential to be the Wildcats' next all-around star." The two-time National qualifier placed third on bars and beam at the 2022 Texas state championship and earned a fifth-place finish on the floor at the 2022 Nastia Liukin Cup. She was also a USA Gymnastics Developmental National Team member in 2021 and was a Level 10 National Champion on beam that same year.
Sienna Robinson, Stanford
Stanford' 17th-ranked 2024 class is highlighted by Robinson, who is expected to be a regular member of the Cardinal lineups immediately. Robinson most recently took first in the bars at the 2023 Women's Developmental National Championships and finished third overall in the all-around and beam, while she's a two-time Region 1 Champion in the beam (2022) and the bars (2023).
Katelyn Rosen, UCLA
Rosen comes to UCLA with a wealth of experience under her belt as a member of the the 2020 U.S. National Team. The five-time U.S. Championships qualifier most recently earned a Top 10 all-around finish at the 2023 Winter Cup and at 2022's U.S. Classic, she finished first on the floor, third in the all-around and seventh on the beam.
Ella Zirbes, Utah
Zirbes is one of three five-star recruits in the loaded Utes' sixth-ranked freshman class. She is a two-time national champion in the all-around, most recently winning the title at the 2023 Level 10 Championships, where she also finished second in the vault, bars and floor. Zirbes also added Region 4 Championships in the vault, bars, floor and all-around this year and has a good chance to jump right in and compete as an all-arounder for the Utes from day one.
