CORVALLIS, Ore. The Oregon State men's rowing team is officially headed to the IRA National Championships, the Intercollegiate Rowing Association announced Tuesday.

The Beavers have competed in every IRA Championship since 2013, and have finished as high as fourth at the event (2002).

IRA Championships will take place May 31-June 2 at Mercer Lake, N.J. The Beavers will have three boats in the competition: their Varsity 8, JV8 and 3V8. The Varsity 8 is seeded 13th with the 2V8 seeded 11th and 3V8 seeded eighth.

Oregon State placed third in the team standings at Pac-12 Championships on Sunday, the third-straight year the Beavers have finished in the three-spot. The OSU Varsity 8 and JV8 both finished fourth in the event, while the Varsity 4 and 3V8 both placed third.
