CORVALLIS, Ore. Oregon State Men's Rowing hits the road for the east coast this week, competing against three top 20 foes in no. 20 Holy Cross, no. 14 Cornell and no. 9 Penn.

The Beavs, tied at no. 20 with the Crusaders, will take on Cornell on Friday before battling Holy Cross and Penn on Saturday.

LAST TIME OUT
Oregon State men's rowing literally ran into obstacles, but persevered to beat Stanford in the Varsity 4+ race after dropping the Varsity 8 and 2V8 races.

The Beavs were in touch with Stanford in the first Varsity 8 race before having to restart due to debris on the course that the Beaver boat hit. OSU dropped the re-race by just over 10 seconds.

In the 2V8, OSU fell by a bit more than 10 seconds, finishing in 6:11. The team transitioned to 4's and bounced back with three of four Oregon State teams knocking off the Cardinal.

OSU's boat coxswained by Lidya Acar narrowly defeated the boat led by Kainoa Orgales, winning by just 66 hundredths of a second. Ethan Frank's boat also beat Stanford by just over a second.

UP NEXT
The Pac-12 Championships are slated for Sunday, May 19 in Gold River, Calif. The races will be televised on Pac-12 Network.
