Arizona Defeats Southern Utah, 6-1

TUCSON, Ariz. – Arizona women’s soccer team picked up their first win of the Arizona Cats Classic with a 6-1 triumph over Southern Utah Friday night at Murphey Field at Mulcahy Stadium.

Sun Devil Soccer Falls to No. 24 Texas Tech in Overtime

TUCSON, Ariz. — The Arizona State women's soccer team had its three-game winning streak snapped on Friday, losing to No. 24 Texas Tech, 1-0 in overtime, during the first day of play at the Cats Classic hosted by the University of Arizona.

UCLA Women's Soccer Defeats San Diego State, 2-0

The fifth-ranked UCLA women's soccer team scored late in each half to defeat San Diego State, 2-0. Kodi Lavrusky and Abby Dahlkemper scored their first goals of the season for the Bruins, who improved to 6-1-0. The Aztecs fell to 1-3-2.

No. 23 USC Upended In OT By Pepperdine

LOS ANGELES, CALIF. — The No. 23 USC women's soccer team saw 93 minutes of strong play soured by an overtime game-winner from visiting Pepperdine. The Trojans had out-shot the Waves down the stretch, but both teams had come up with great chances throughout the match. In the end, it was Pepperdine's Lynn Williams who beat out oncoming goalkeeper Caroline Stanley by slipping through a strike that ended it as a 1-0 Pepperdine win. With its second straight loss, USC goes to 3-2-1 overall while the Waves improve to 3-2-1.

Castain's Goals Keeps Cougars Unbeaten

PULLMAN, Wash. – Senior Micaela Castain scored a pair of goals and Washington State defeated visiting UNLV 2-0 in nonconference women’s soccer, Friday.
