- Oregon cross country's Edward Cheserek: The sophomore won the men's individual NCAA title for the second year in a row.
- Arizona runningback Nick Wilson: Rushed for 218 yards and three touchdowns on just 20 carries in Arizona's 42-10 win over Utah.
- Oregon women's basketball's Jillian Alleyne: Averaged 19 points, 14.5 rebounds and 4 assists in Oregon's first two games of the season, a win over Utah State and a loss to North Carolina.
- UCLA men's basketball's Bryce Alford: Averaged 21 points and 10.7 assists in UCLA's first three games of the season, all of which were wins.
