THIS WEEK’S PAC-12 OPPONENTS: The Pac-12 has three games this week against Big Ten foes, all on the road - OREGON at Michigan State, OREGON STATE at Michigan, and WASHINGTON STATE at Rutgers. The Pac-12 has won seven of the last 10 meetings with the Big Ten, including a 1-1 mark in the opening week ... Four games are on tap vs. the Mountain West - ARIZONA at Nevada, San Diego State at CALIFORNIA, UCLA at UNLV, and Utah State at UTAH. While the Pac-12 was 11-3 vs. the Mountain West last season, it dropped both games against the Mountain West in the opening week.
IMPRESSIVE DEBUT: Several Pac-12 freshmen and other newcomers to the Conference stood out during the opening weekend. Here’s a quick recap of those stellar performances:

Vernon Adams Jr., TR, QB, ORE - 19-of-25, 246 yards, 2 TDs, 14 rushes/94 yards

Ronald Jones II, Fr., RB, USC - 6 rushes/86 yards/14.3 avg, 1 TD
Tony Brooks-James, Fr., RB, ORE - 6 rushes/63 yards/10.5 avg, 2 TDs
Zach Charme, Fr., P, WSU - Averaged 52.0 yards per punt
