Dusan Ristic has been named to the Kareem Abdul-Jabbar Preseason Watch List as one of the top centers in the nation. He joins teammates
Allonzo Trier,
Rawle Alkins and
Deandre Ayton who earned watch list accolades earlier in the week.
The 7-footer enters the 2017-18 season as one of two four-year seniors on the team, joining point guard
Parker Jackson-Cartwright. Ristic has developed through each of his three seasons in Tucson with statistical improvements across the board each year. A standout junior campaign from the Serbia native saw him tally 36 appearances with 34 games started while averaging 10.9 points and 5.5 rebounds per game.
He picked up first double-double of his career in third game of last season with 13 points and 15 rebounds against Sacred Heart on Nov. 18, 2016 with the 15 boards being a career high. Ristic's 55.6 shooting percentage from the field in all games ranked ninth in the conference.

The senior enters his final season with an impressive 88 wins in his 106 games played. The 2017-18 season will officially begin on Friday, Nov. 10 when Arizona hosts Northern Arizona at 6 p.m. (MST).
