Gymnast of the Week: Maile O’Keefe, So., UTAH (Las Vegas, Nev.)

  • Posted the highest all-around score (39.725) in the Pac-12 this season, leading then-No. 4 Utah to a win over then-No. 23 Oregon State and the conference regular season title. 
  • Earned first or a share of the top spot in four of five categories, scoring at least 9.900 in all four individual events.
  • Recorded a 9.900 on the vault, 9.95 on bars, 9.975 on beam and 9.900 on the floor; she’s the only Pac-12 gymnast to score a 9.975+ on the beam this season. 
  • Fourth Gymnast of the Week accolade of the 2021 season. 

 

Specialist of the Week: Emi Watterson, Sr., CALIFORNIA (Brisbane, Australia)

  • Earned a perfect 10.000 score on the uneven bars, just the second perfect mark in the event in program history and the fourth overall. 
  • Added a 9.950 first-place mark on the beam, winning both competitions against then-No. 10 UCLA. 
  • Contributed to then-No. 9 California’s program-best 198.050 collective score. 
  • First Specialist of the Week honor of the 2021 season. 

 

Freshman/Newcomer of the Week: Chae Campbell, Fr., UCLA (Carrollton, Texas)

  • Won her third all-around title of her freshman season, putting up a career-high 39.625 against then-No. 9 California. 
  • Took first place on vault with a 9.950, her fourth win in the event this season. 
  • Added a personal best 9.875 on uneven bars, a 9.875 on beam and a 9.925 floor score. 
  • Third Freshman of the Week honor of the 2021 season. 

 

Coaches Choice: Chloe Widner, So., STANFORD (Frisco, Texas)

  • Won the beam (9.850) and vault events (9.875) in a meet against Washington and Boise State. 
  • Took the all-around title with a 39.275 score. 
  • Earned Stanford’s first Conference weekly award of 2021.
