#PAC12MBB STARTING FIVE:

1-of-5 - ARIZONA junior Kerr Kriisa recorded the second triple-double of his career with 14 points, 12 assists and 11 rebounds in Friday’s 95-78 victory over Southern.

  • Kriisa is only the fifth player with multiple triple-doubles in Conference history, joining CALIFORNIA's Jason Kidd (four), ARIZONA's Andre Iguodala (three) and Loren Woods (two), and OREGON's Luke Jackson (two).

6 - Six Pac-12 Men's Basketball standouts were named to the Top 50 Watch List for the Naismith Trophy National Player of the Year: Azuolas Tubelis, Arizona; Will Richardson, Oregon; Harrison Ingram, Stanford; Tyger Campbell & Jaime Jaquez Jr., UCLA; Drew Peterson, USC.

6, 4, 3 - Among the 27 games scheduled for the second week of the 2022-23 Pac-12 Men’s Basketball season:

  • At least six (and up to eight) 2022 NCAA Tournament teams - Montana State at OREGON, #17 San Diego State at STANFORD, Vermont at USC, #8 UCLA vs. #19 Illinois, #3 Houston at OREGON, #14 ARIZONA vs. Ohio State/#17 San Diego State
  • At least four (and up to six) Power 6 conference opponents - ARIZONA STATE vs. Michigan/Pittsburgh, UCLA vs. Illinois, UCLA vs. Baylor/Virginia, UTAH vs. Georgia Tech
  • At least three (and up to seven) AP Top 25 opponents - #17 San Diego State at STANFORD, #19 Illinois vs. #8 UCLA, #3 Houston at OREGON

#11 - COLORADO collected the Conference’s first AP ranked victory of the season with a 78-66 upset of then-No. 11 Tennessee in Nashville on Sunday.

  • It marked the Buffaloes’ best non-conference win since knocking off No. 6 Kansas in Boulder in Dec. 2013.
  • It was CU’s best non-conference win away from home since March 1990 (No. 6 Missouri in Kansas City).

22 - Pac-12 Men’s Basketball programs have combined to sign 22 prospects to National Letters of Intent during the early signing period.

  • Of the 22, 15 are ranked as either 4-Star prospects or better, including five 5-Star signees with OREGON and STANFORD signing a pair apiece and COLORADO inking its first 5-Star under Tad Boyle.
  • Half of the 22 are ranked in the Top 100 of 247 Sports Composite rankings, including six in the Top 50.

PAC-12 NOTES

BREAKOUT BRUIN: UCLA’s Jaylen Clark has had a breakout start to his junior campaign in helping the Bruins to a 3-0 mark.

  • Through the Bruins’ first three games, Clark is the only NCAA Division I player with averages of at least 17 points (17.3), eight rebounds (8.0) and four steals (4.3) according to College Basketball Reference.
  • Clark is also shooting 66.7 percent (20-30) from the floor and 54 percent (7-13) behind the arc, and is the national leader in Box Plus/Minus (+25.0) according to College Basketball Reference.

UW-WW: WASHINGTON is 3-0 for the first time since 2015-16 and for the first time under head coach Mike Hopkins.

  • The Huskies last started a season 4-0 in 2014-15 en route to an 11-0 start and 11-1 non-conference record.
  • UW’s start has been ignited by Keyon Menifield, whose 18.3 points per game are the most among NCAA Division I freshmen.
