FEDERAL WAY, Wash. – Day two of the Pac-12 Women's Swimming and Men's and Women's Diving Championships started on a high note with Arizona’s Delaney Schnell earning her third consecutive Pac-12 title in the 1-meter with a score of 355.50 and becoming the fourth diver in conference history to complete the feat.

Arizona State, California and Stanford picked up wins in the women’s swimming portion of the evening. Lindsey Looney was the first Sun Devil to see the podium in the Championships, earning a win in the 500 Freestyle.

Cal’s Leah Polonsky came away with a win in the 200 IM while Stanford’s Torri Huske finished first in the 50 Freestyle. The night concluded with the Cardinal taking the top spot in the 200 Freestyle Relay.

Women’s 500 Freestyle

  • Arizona State’s Lindsay Looney earned the Sun Devils their first podium finish of the competition, picking up a win in the 500-Yard Freestyle and a NCAA B standard.
  • With a 4:39.29 finish, Looney swam the event faster than any other Pac-12 female athlete this season, including topping her personal season-best.
  • Stanford’s Morgan Tankersley picked up her second podium finish, taking second place with a time of 4:39.54, earning a NCAA B cut.

  • Coming within a second and a half of the Pac-12 record, Polonsky topped her personal best and moved up a spot (8) in the Bears' all-time record book for the event.
  • Taking second and swimming alongside her winning teammate was Cal’s Isabelle Stadden, swimming a time of 1:55.52.
  • USC's Isabelle Odgers finished close behind the bears. The senior swam an NCAA B standard of 1:55.68, tacking on an additional 27 points for her team.

Women’s 50 Freestyle

  • In a close and competitive finish, two Stanford swimmers came out on top of the 50 Free to add their names to the records.
  • Sophomore Torri Huske swam a 21.67, good for an NCAA B standard and the title of Pac-12 Champion. Huske now holds both the second and third-best times in Stanford's history in the event.
  • Huske’s teammate Taylor Ruck finished a close .20 seconds behind her with a final time of 21.87 to solidify her second record in the Stanford top 10 as well.

Women’s 1-Meter:

  • For the third year in a row Arizona's Delaney Schnell captured the women’s 1-meter with a final score of 355.50 to become only the fourth female diver in Conference history to win three consecutive 1-meter titles (Victoria Ishimatsu, USC; Kellie Brennan, USC; Kristen Walls, UCLA)
  • It was the fifth career Pac-12 title for Schnell, who now holds three of Arizona’s four 1-meter diving titles.
  • USC’s standout diver, Carolina Sculti picked up a runner-up finish with a score of 324.35, a full 16 points better than her season high (307.40).
  • Finishing third, the highest Pac-12 finish of her career, was Utah’s Holly Waxman with a 311.15. Her bronze podium finish topped her already second-place spot in the Ute record book and was just over one point away from setting a new program record.

Men’s 3-Meter

  • After finishing sixth in the 2022 Pac-12 Championships, George Korovin came back strong a year later, earning USC’s first win on the 3-meter since 2018 and his highest career Pac-12 finish.
