BRACKETS: MEN'S | WOMEN'S

SAN FRANCISCO – The Pac-12 Conference announced the 2023 Pac-12 Men’s and Women’s Tennis Championship brackets on Sunday. The nine men’s teams and 11 women’s teams will return to Ojai, California on Wednesday, April 26 for four days of competition. No stranger to the No. 1 spot is the Stanford women, which clinched its 29th regular season title. On the men's side, USC earned the No. 1 seed thanks to a 6-2 conference season and a No. 11 ITA national ranking.

After clinching its 34th all-time regular-season title, No. 11 USC (16-7, 6-2) enters the tournament as the No. 1 seed for the second time in program history (2014). Following the Trojans are No. 16 Arizona (20-5, 6-2) as the No. 2 seed and No. 19 Utah (21-4) with its highest placement ever as the No. 3. The two programs joined USC in clinching a share of the Pac-12 regular-season title with 6-2 league marks. As all three teams were 1-1 against the group in the regular season, tournament seedings were determined using the most recent ITA National Rankings. No. 17 Stanford and No. 28 California were both 4-4 and the Cardinal's head-to-head victory clinched the No. 4 seed, while the Golden Bears are No. 5.

For the third time in program history and first since 2019, No. 7 Stanford (18-2, 10-0) is the No. 1 seed in the women's bracket following its undefeated Pac-12 season and 29th regular-season championship. Following the Cardinal as the No. 2 seed is No. 27 California (11-8, 7-3), which solidified its runner-up position thanks to a 6-1 conference win over No. 3 seed Arizona State (17-5, 7-3) to claim that tiebreaker. The fourth and fifth seeds are No. 22 Washington (16-7, 6-4) and No. 19 UCLA (13-6, 6-4), respectively, and the final two squads with byes into Thursday's quarterfinals. The Huskies, Bruins and No. 26 USC all finished 6-4 in league, but UW was 2-0 against the group to claim the No. 4 seed and UCLA beat USC on Friday to earn the No. 5.

The tournament winners will receive the conference's automatic bids to the NCAA Championships.

All four days of the Men’s Championship will take place at Libbey Park.
