WRESTLER OF THE WEEK: Gabe Whisenhunt, So., Oregon State (133 lbs., Corvallis, Ore.)

• Won the 133-lb. division of the Southeast Open in Salem, Va., which featured an upset of No. 4 Sam Latona (Va. Tech) by decision at 10-9 in the semifinal round.  Beat Mason Liephart (Franklin & Marshall) 10-7 for the title
• Defeated Queens' Griffin Gonzalez by fall in 36 seconds in season opener on Nov. 2 at the Carolina Duals in Chapel Hill, N.C..  Oregon State went 3-0 at the Duals including a win over No. 25 North Carolina
• 9-3 last year as a freshman
• 1st Wrestler of the Week of his career.  3rd straight year an Oregon State grappler has won Pac-12 Wrester of the Week in the opening week
