Pac-12 Women’s Basketball Performance Awards, presented by Nextiva - Jan. 22, 2024

The Pac-12 today announced its women's basketball performance awards, presented by Nextiva, for games played from January 15 - January 21 and voted on by media who cover the league. See below for this week's recognitions and keep track of the 2023-24 Player of the Year watchlist here:

PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Kiki Iriafen, Jr., F, Stanford, (Los Angeles) >> 2 G, 28.5 PPG, 13.5 RPG, 60.5 FG%, 100.0 3FG%

• Posted a pair of double-doubles in the wins over Oregon (88-63) and RV Oregon State (65-56).
• Started the week with 21 points and 15 rebounds, 12 of which came on the defensive end, against the Ducks.
• Scored a career-high 36 points against Oregon State on 61.5% (16-26) shooting, and was a perfect 2-for-2 from three-point range for her first collegiate triple.
• Added 12 rebounds against the Beavers, becoming the first Cardinal since Chiney Ogwumike in 2014 with at least 35 points and 10 boards in a game.
• First career Pac-12 Player of the Week award for Iriafen, and Stanford’s 125th all-time.

FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK: JuJu Watkins, Fr., G, USC (Los Angeles) >> 2 G, 23.0 PPG, 3.5 RPG, 2.0 APG, 3.5 SPG, 87.5 FT%

• Team-high 26 points against No. 20 Utah (L, 78-58), and had five rebounds and three steals.
• Followed up with a game-high 20 points against No. 3 Colorado (L, 63-59), marking the 15th game she has led USC in scoring this season.
• Posted a game-high four steals, and was 4-for-4 from the free-throw line against the Buffaloes. 
• 10th Freshman of the Week honor for Watkins, and USC’s 21st overall.
