Pac-12 Women’s Basketball Performance Awards, presented by Nextiva - Dec. 26, 2023

The Pac-12 today announced its women's basketball performance awards, presented by Nextiva, for games played from December 18 - December 24 and voted on by media who cover the league. See below for this week's recognitions and keep track of the 2023-24 Player of the Year watchlist here:

PLAYER OF THE WEEK: McKenzie Forbes, Sr., G/F, USC, (Folsom, Calif.) >> 2 G, 26.5 PPG, 5.0 RPG, 3.0 APG, 81.0 FT%

• Opened up the week with 17 points, three rebounds, and a pair of assists in the win over Cal State Fullerton (93-44).
• Went 3-7 (42.9%) from deep against the Titans to help USC set a program record with 16 made threes.
• Poured in a career-high 36 points in the win at Long Beach State (85-77).
• Made a career-high 13 free throws on a career-high 16 attempts (81.3%) against Beach.
• Added a season-high seven rebounds against Long Beach State.
• First career Pac-12 Player of the Week award for Forbes, and USC’s 54th.

• Scored 23 points in the win over Cal State Fullerton (93-44) to extend her streak of team-high scoring to nine straight games.
• Posted career highs in assists (six) and blocks (three), while hauling in six boards.
• Went a perfect 6-6 from the charity stripe.
• Sixth Pac-12 Freshman of the Week award for Watkins (two away from tying the league record for most Pac-12 Freshman of the Week awards in a season), and USC’s 17th.
