GULF SHORES, Ala. – In a sweeping fashion, the USC Trojans accomplished the first ever NCAA Beach Volleyball Championship four-peat as they secured their fourth straight title, taking down No. 2 UCLA on Alabama’s Gulf Shores on Sunday morning. This marks the sixth time in the NCAA’s eight stagings of the Championship that the Trojans have walked away victorious (‘16, ‘17, ‘21, ‘22, ‘23, ‘24), with USC now holding a 31-4 overall record in NCAA Tournament duals.

USC, who was seeded first overall in the tournament, faced and took down three opponents on their way to the Championship match. In those first three rounds, USC swept No. 16 North Florida, No. 9 Loyola Marymount and No. 6 Cal Poly in 3-0 fashions to secure their seventh crosstown rival meeting with UCLA in the Championship dual.

All-Pac-12 Second team pair, Madison White and Maddi Kriz, opened things up on court two, scoring the first point of the Championship dual after a three set comeback victory over UCLA’s Peri Brennan and Devon Newberry (14-21, 21-19, 15-13). 

Finishing close behind was the Trojan’s court four pair, Ashley Pater and Grace Seits who picked up a similar three-set win against Jaden Whitmarsh and Tessa Van Winkle (24-26, 25-23, 15-8) for the second dual point. 

For the second year in a row, as the ones, threes and fives all advanced to their third sets, AVCA Top-Flight honorees Audrey and Nicole Nourse earned the dual clinching win on court three after a 22-20, 15-21, 15-11 match against Jessie Smith and Kenzie Brower to bring home the title. 

At the conclusion of the Championship, five pairs were named to the NCAA Championship All-Tournament Team:
