More: USD Tournament - Women's Volleyball

No. 13 USC Closes Regular Season Against Top-25 Foes

No. 13 USC (21-8, 13-5 Pac-12) closes the regular season with a short trip to face No. 24 Oregon (16-10, 9-9) on Wednesday (Nov. 22) and then hosts crosstown rival No. 19 UCLA (17-10, 10-8) at Galen Center for Senior Day festivities on Saturday (Nov. 25). A win in either match will lock up at least a tie for second place in the final conference standings.

No. 14 USC Claims 3-0 Sweep Over California

The 14th-ranked USC women's volleyball team (21-8, 13-5 Pac-12) earned a 3-0 sweep (25-18, 25-14, 25-22) over California (13-15, 4-13) on Friday, Nov. 17, at Haas Pavilion. The Women of Troy hit .366 (47k, 10e, 101att) in the win and had three players in double-digit kills led by senior opposite hitter Brittany Abercrombie who had 13 kills (0e, 23att, .565).

No. 14 USC Falls to No. 4 Stanford in 3-0 Sweep

The 14th-ranked USC women's volleyball team (20-8, 12-5 Pac-12) dropped a 3-0 decision (25-16, 25-12, 25-14) to No. 4 Stanford (23-3, 16-1) at Maples Pavilion on Wednesday, Nov. 15. The loss snapped the Trojans' five-match winning streak as the Cardinal clinched the outright Pac-12 title.

No. 14 USC Carries Five-Match Streak to Bay Area Bouts

No. 14 USC (20-7, 12-4 Pac-12) takes a five-match winning streak into pivotal Pac-12 road contests this week at No. 4 Stanford (22-3, 15-1) and California (13-14, 4-12). With four regular-season matches remaining, USC is second in the Pac-12 standings behind Stanford. Wins in the Bay Area would create some separation between the Trojans and a glut of teams in third and fourth place.

Khalia Lanier Named AVCA National Player of the Week

USC women's volleyball sophomore outside hitter Khalia Lanier (Scottsdale, Ariz./Xavier College Prep) was named the Sports Imports/American Volleyball Coaches Association Division I National Player of the Week as announced by the AVCA on Tuesday, Nov. 14. It is Lanier's first-career national award and the 10th in program history for the Women of Troy.
