The final Pac-12 volleyball season in its current form officially came to a close with the crowning of Texas as the NCAA National Champion for a second straight season. Five Pac-12 squads made the 2023 NCAA Tournament and four - Stanford, Oregon, Arizona State and Washington State - all advanced to the round of 16 with the Cardinal and Ducks moving on to the Elite 8 in back-to-back seasons. The four teams in the Sweet 16 were tied with the Big 10 for most of any conference in the country, while it was the most league teams to advance to the second weekend since 2018.

Washington State's run ended against Final Four participant Pittsburgh and Arizona State's historic season was cut short by Pac-12 foe Stanford. The Cardinal avenged their only conference loss of the season to the Sun Devils in the Regional Semifinals before falling to the eventual National Champions in Texas in the Regional Final. Oregon's second consecutive Regional Final appearance concluded with a loss to Wisconsin.

Overall it was an exciting and competitive regular season as the Pac-12 was arguably the strongest and deepest league in the country in 2023 as evidenced by its 96-31 (.756) regular season non-conference record, which was the best in the country.

Stanford finished 19-1 in conference play for a second straight year to capture back-to-back Pac-12 Championships. The 2023 title was its fifth in the last seven seasons and 21st overall as members of the Pac-12. Oregon finished second for the third time in the last four years while Washington State turned in another top-three finish for its league-high eighth consecutive NCAA postseason appearance. Arizona State, under first-year head coach J.J. Van Niel, had a historic season, setting a program record for most league wins with 14, leading the Sun Devils to their first NCAA Tournament appearance since 2015 and reaching the Sweet 16 for the first time since 1995.
