The Oregon State Volleyball team had their historic season come to an end Friday night at the Regional semifinal round of the NCAA Tournament when they faced #1 Stanford. The Beavers battled throughout the match, but the Cardinal came out on top 3-1.
The Beavers travel to Ames, Iowa for Sweet 16 round of the NCAA Tournament. OSU will face the top seeded and Pac-12 Champion Stanford Cardinal Friday, Dec. 12 at 3 p.m. pacific time. The winner of the match will face the winner of Florida and Illinois Saturday night in an Elite 8 match up.
– As one of the most successful teams in Oregon State volleyball history prepares for a Sweet 16 match-up against Pac-12 foe Stanford, freshman Mary-Kate Marshall and head coach Terry Liskevych continue to add post-season awards. The AVCA announced their Regional awards Tuesday, with Liskevych being named Regional Coach of the Year for the Pacific North Region and Marshall being named All-Region as well as Regional Freshman of the Year.
The Oregon State volleyball team and head coach Terry Liskevych are happy to announce that Jessi Seumalo has signed an NLI to play for the Beavers starting in 2015. Seumalo played at the NJCAA level at the College of Southern Idaho during the 2013 and 2014 season after playing high school volleyball at Santiam Christian in Corvallis.
Continuing one of the best seasons in program history, the Oregon State volleyball team (21-12) defeated the University of Arkansas – Little Rock in a 5-set comeback thriller, 25-15, 19-25, 22-25, 28-26, 19-17.
