The University of Arizona Men's Tennis team took a break from its competition on the courts and spent time with the kids from the Tucson Community Tennis Program, Friday afternoon out at the LaNelle Robson Tennis Center.
Junior Naoki Takeda pulled off one of the largest upsets of the college tennis season thus far, as he took down No. 5 Dominik Koepfer, 6-2, 6-0, but it wasn't quite enough, as the Wildcats fell to No. 53 Tulane 4-2, Tuesday out at the LaNelle Robson Tennis Center.
Junior Naoki Takeda was able to win his ninth straight singles match and secure his first win since being ranked No. 58 in the nation earlier this week, but it wasn't enough, as Arizona dropped a 5-2 decision to No. 70 Nevada, Saturday out at LaNelle Robson Tennis Center, snapping what was a season-long four-match win streak.
