BOULDER - Colorado's soccer team finished the 2017 season 12-6-4 overall, including 5-4-2 in the Pac-12, to finish sixth in the conference and reach the second round of the NCAA Tournament. BOULDER - Colorado soccer coach Danny Sanchez announced the team's 2018 ID Camp will be held on Saturday, Jan. 27. It will be a one-day event where prospective student-athletes can show off their talents in front of CU's coaching staff, along with the region's top coaches. The camp will be held inside CU's brand-new Indoor Practice Facility on campus. The camp is open to all female athletes ages 12 and older, and limited only by grade and capacity. Spots are limited and are filling up fast.
Colorado sophomore Taylor Kornieck made two appearances over the past week for the U-20 United States Women's National Team in the 2017 Women's International Friendlies tournament in Lakewood Ranch, Fla.
SAN FRANCISCO – Colorado's soccer team had nine players earn Pac-12 All-Academic honors on Wednesday. Kelsey Aaknes, Courtney Fedor, Erin Greening, Sarah Kinzner, Megan Massey, Hannah Scheid, Jalen Tompkins, Alex Vidger and Scout Watson were all named to the Pac-12 All-Academic Honor Roll.
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Four Colorado women's soccer players were named to the All-West Region teams on Wednesday by the United Soccer Coaches. Taylor Kornieck was selected to the first team, Joss Orejel was named to the second team, and Jalen Tompkins and Becca Rasmussen were both on the third team. It is tied for the most all-region players CU has had from the coaches association in school history, matching the total from 2005.
