Women?s Golf Travels to Hawaii for Pac-12 Preview

TUCSON, Ariz. University of Arizona women’s golf will conclude the fall portion of the 2014-15 schedule competing at the second annual Pac-12 Preview on Monday and Tuesday, Nov. 3-4. The event will take place at the prestigious Nanea Golf Club in Kona, Hawaii (par 73, 6,112 yards).

The University of Hawaii will join the 11 teams of the Pac-12 for a 12-team field. The event features four of the top five nationally-ranked teams according to Golfweek with No. 1 Washington, No. 3 USC, No. 4 Stanford and No. 5 UCLA.

No. 14 Arizona, No. 30 Arizona State, No. 35 Colorado, No. 36 Oregon, No. 37 California, No. 66 Washington State, No. 95 Oregon State and No. 121 Hawaii make up the rest of the field.

The teams will start with 36 holes on Monday and conclude with 18 holes on Tuesday. Arizona is set to tee off on Monday at 8:30 a.m. HT/11:30 MT.

Arizona’s lineup will include seniors Manon Gidali and Kendall Prince, junior Lindsey Weaver, sophomore Wanasa Zhou and freshman Krystal Quihuis.

In 2013, the Wildcats earned a seventh-place finish at the inaugural Pac-12 Preview and were led by Wanasa Zhou, who finished in a tie for eighth place with a score of 217 (-2).

The Wildcats last competed on Oct. 24-26, where they earned a 10th-place finish at the Landfall Tradition, hosted by UNCW in Wilmington, N.C.
