TUCSON, Ariz. – Four Arizona women's golfers finished the first round of the Red Rocks Invitational, hosted by Northern Arizona University at Oakcreek Country Club in Sedona, Ariz. The Wildcats are competing as individuals.
Senior Andrea Vilarasau and freshman Natalia Forero both shot a 74 (+2) and are currently in a tie for 11th place. Freshman Krystal Quihuis finished the first round with a 76 (+4). Sophomore Jessica Vasilic finished with an 80 (+8).
Competition will conclude Saturday with a 10 a.m. MST shotgun start.
Sophomore Wanasa Zhou is also competing this weekend. Zhou finished the first round of the Symetra Tour's Volvik Championship with an even 72. She will tee off on Saturday at 7 a.m. PST/8 a,m. MST.
