Tucson, Ariz. – Seven cross country Cats were named to the Pac-12 All-Academic teams, the conference announced on Wednesday. To be eligible for selection to the academic team, a student-athlete must have a minimum 3.0 overall grade-point average and be either a starter or significant contributor.
Hannah Whetzel and
Travis Thorne were named to the Pac-12 All-Academic First Team. Whetzel, a Mechanical Engineering major holds a 3.91 GPA. Her best finish at the Dave Murray Invitational where she finished 15th. Thorne, an optical science major and engineering major holds a 3.79 GPA. His best finish of the year came at the Dave Murray Invitational where he finished fourth individually.
Hunter Davila, majoring in law and psychology, earned Pac-12 All-Academic Second Team Honors. Davila holds a 3.59 GPA and his best finish of the year came at the Dave Murray Invitational where he finished second.

Addi Zerrenner,
Carlos Villarreal and
Seamus White earned honorable mention honors.
