Zinkhan Promoted to Associate Head Coach

CORVALLIS – Oregon State's Ryan Zinkhan has been promoted to the position of Associate Head Coach, the team has announced.
 
Zinkhan joined the Beaver coaching staff prior to the start of the 2018 season. During his tenure with the program, Oregon State has amassed a record of 24-12-5, including a 19-4-3 mark at Lorenz Field. Zinkhan helped guide the Beavers to the NCAA Tournament in 2018, as the team earned its second ever tournament victory.
 
During Zinkhan's first two seasons, Oregon State players have combined to earn 11 All-Pac-12 honors, including five First Team selections.
 
Zinkhan arrived at OSU after spending a year as an assistant women's soccer coach at the University of Mary Washington in Virginia. In addition, he has held different roles at the Fredericksburg Football Club in Virginia since January of 2015, including director of coaching for boys.
  
Zinkhan is a 2014 graduate of Virginia with a bachelor's degree in foreign affairs with a minor in history. He was part of the UVA squad that won the 2014 National Championship and made the 2013 Final Four. He played in 78 career games for the Cavaliers.
 
The Beavers have opened this season with four-striaght wins. They will remain at home on Saturday for a matchup with Gonzaga.
