Head of the Charles Opens 2023-24 for Men's Rowing

CORVALLIS, Ore. The Oregon State men's rowing team will open its 2023-24 season on Sunday at the Head of the Charles Regatta in Cambridge, Mass.

The Beavers will have a 4+ boat competing in the Men's Championship Four, which is slated to begin at 10:21 a.m. PT. The Beavers will be bow #8.

A boat of former Beavs will compete in the alumni 8+, which is slated to begin on Saturday at 7:47 a.m. PT. The alumni will be bow #20.

The Head of the Charles is the largest two-day regatta in the world, and have been held on the penultimate weekend of October every year since 1965. The event attracts some of the top athletes in the sport, as well as hundreds of thousands of spectators.
