Utah football used a preposterous 38-0 second half to get past Washington State at home by a final of 45-28. The Cougars jumped out to a 28-7 lead at intermission. But the Utes utterly dominated the game from there, earning the victory and clinching a winning season. Utah dominated the turnover battle in the second half with three forced fumbles for turnovers and a pick-six interception. Running back Ty Jordan was the leader on offense with 187 total yards and three touchdowns.
