No. 18 Oregon State football won a road season-opener for the first time since 1999 with a 42-17 victory over San José State on Sunday, Sept. 3 at Spartan Stadium. The Beavers outgained the Spartans in total yards by 194 (473-279). OSU held SJSU to 56 yards on the ground, while Damien Martinez racked up 145 rushing yards on 18 attempts for the Beavers.
