Marcus Mariota helps Oregon break through against Stanford

Nov 1, 2014

Marcus Mariota wasn't going to let the Ducks lose to Stanford for a third straight year.

The Oregon Ducks quarterback came out with an aggressive mindset early on in a 45-16 win over the Cardinal, rushing for 78 yards by halftime -- that's more than he's run for in any full game this season. Mariota finished the night with 258 yards through the air, two pass touchdowns and 85 yards on the ground that included two more scores.

Mariota can now say he's defeated every Pac-12 team as a starting quarterback for Oregon. The Ducks can say they're still the Pac-12 team to beat.
