Pac-12 Golf Monthly Awards - November 2022

Pac-12 Men's Golfer of the Month (November): Owen Avrit, OREGON (Sr., Arroyo Grande, Calif.)

  • Recorded his second collegiate victory, and first as a Duck, with co-medalist honors at the Cal Poly Invitational on Nov. 1.
  • Matched the low round of the tournament with a second-round 6-under-par 66 en route to a 10-under 206 total (70-66-70), sharing the title with Ohio State's Adam Wallin.
  • Led the 72-player field in par-4 scoring (-7) and was third in the tournament with 15 birdies.
  • It marked Avrit's third top-8 finish in four tournaments this fall.

Pac-12 Women's Golfer of the Month (November): Rose Zhang, STANFORD (So., Irvine, Calif.)

  • Posted her seventh career victory (in just 14 starts) and third win in four events this fall at the Nanea Pac-12 Preview on Nov. 2. Won by three shots with a three-round 11-under-par 208 total (67-70-71).
  • Moves into fourth place on the career victory list at Stanford, just two shy of Andrea Lee's (9) school record. The seven career wins are also tied for eighth most in Conference history.
  • Third straight and fourth career Pac-12 Golfer of the Month honor (October 2021, Sept.-Nov. 2022).
  • Joins UCLA's Lilia Vu as the only players to win three consecutive Pac-12 Player of the Month honors; also is one shy of Vu's record of five career monthly honors.
