MEN’S TENNIS PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Murphy Cassone Jr., Arizona State (Overland Park, Kansas)

• Won five of six matches across singles and doubles over the weekend in Arizona State’s trio of matches. 
• Opened his weekend with a straight-sets, 6-3, 6-0 win over Jip Van Assendfelt of Boise State on the top court. Added a 6-1 doubles win in the 4-3 team win over the No. 58 Broncos. 
• Battled to a 6-0, 4-6, 6-4 win over No. 4 Ozan Baris of Michigan State, ultimately adding a 6-3 doubles victory over Ronald Hohmann/Taym Alazmeh of the Spartans. 
• Earned his third doubles victory of the weekend with a 6-3 win over Will Cooksey/Jacob Bickersteth, helping lead the Sun Devils to a 4-2 team win over No. 36 Michigan.

WOMEN’S TENNIS PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Tian Fangran, So., UCLA (Beijing, China)

• Helped lead the Bruins to a team victory over then-No. 8 USC over the weekend. 
• Took down No. 60 Snow Han of USC, 6-4, 6-2 in straight sets.
• Tian’s singles victory proved to be the clinching point as the lone remaining match was headed for a third set. 
• Becomes first woman in the Pac-12 two win a pair of Player of the Week honors this season, having previously secured weekly acclaim on Jan. 23.
