MEN’S TENNIS PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Nishesh Basavareddy, So., Stanford (Carmel, Ind.)

• Won a pair of singles matches to help Stanford knock off Pepperdine (Feb. 9) and Sacramento State (Feb. 10) over the weekend. 
• Knocked off No. 28 Edward Winter from Pepperdine, blanking his opponent in the third set to earn the 6-2, 4-6, 6-0 victory. 
• Followed with a 7-5, 6-2 win over Sacramento State’s Mark Keki to improve to 3-0 in singles on the year.
• Played from the top position on singles and doubles.

WOMEN’S TENNIS PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Alexandra Yepifanova, Jr., Stanford (Hollywood, Fla.)

• Went undefeated in singles and doubles across Stanford’s appearance at the ITA National Team Indoor Championships, in which the Cardinal advanced to the semifinals. 
• Earned singles and doubles victories against the No. 8 Gators, including a 6-0, 6-2 singles victory over No. 44 Emily De Oliveira. 
• Notched her second ranked win of the weekend with a 7-6 (3), 6-3 victory over No. 73 Luciana Perry of Ohio State. 
• Paired with Connie Ma on doubles and secured 6-2 and 6-1 wins over pairs from Florida and Ohio State, respectively.
