• His 17 strikeouts versus Stanford tied the Oregon State single game record set in 1994 by Mason Smith.
• 17 strikeouts also mark the most in a single game by a pitcher at the NCAA Division I level this season.
• Struck out the side in four different innings.
• Gave up just two hits - singles in the second and fourth innings.
• Did not allow a runner into scoring position.
• Walked one batter, in the eighth inning, his final frame of work.
• The eight innings marked a career-long outing for the left-hander.
• Second time winning this award this season for Hjerpe, both in the last three weeks.  Joins Stanford's Quinn Mathews as the only Pac-12 pitchers to win this award twice this season.  Third time Hjerpe has won this award in his career, also winning it May 24, 2021.
